[Invited Talk] Current Status and Challenges of Convergence of Optical and Radio Technologies for Terahertz Communication Systems

Abstract(in English) We briefly introduce seamless convergence technology between optical and terahertz systems in Beyond 5G era. Radio-over-fiber-based optical-to-terahertz conversion and optoelectronics oscillator techniques are discussed to realize the configuration of a huge number of remote antenna systems and low phase-noise local oscillators for higher-order multilevel modulation in the terahertz bands.
