Statistical model for the estimation of emission limit for protecting radio services

Abstract(in English) It is necessary to define appropriate emission limits to ensure that electromagnetic disturbances unintentionally radiated from electric and electronic devices do not cause harmful interference to radio communications. In practice, limit values are defined by considering the probability of coincidence of the disturbance and radio reception in time, frequency, and space domains including the directivities of disturbance radiation and receiver antenna. In this report, an overview of the statistical limit-setting model developed by CISPR is presented, and some issues on the definition and relation of the probability factors are discussed.
