Abstract(in English) | RF circuit technology and mixed RF analog-digital circuit technology for mobile communication terminals have made great strides led by applications such as pagers, PHS(personal handy phone system), mobile phones, WiFiTM, and Bluetooth?. In this report, the progress of the RF circuit technology is outlined with the author's experience. Along with the improvement of the performance of RF circuits, it was required to reduce the cost through integration. As a concrete example of improving the performance of RF circuits, LNA (low noise amplifier) and mixer linearization technology will be introduced. DC offset calibration technology for direct conversion receiver and loop gain calibration technology for polar loop transmission circuit as examples of introducing mixed RF analog-digital circuit technologies have realized to reduce the size and cost by reducing the number of components. |
