Abstract(in English) | In uplink screen camera communication using a smartphone screen as a transmitter and an indoor camera as a receiver, in order to reduce the luminance of smartphone’s space division multiplexing screen, we have proposed a high-luminance cell size reduction approach in addition to conventional method to reduce the cell luminance itself. Adaptive thresholding is effective to determine the symbol considering the inter-symbol interferences among the size reduced high luminance cells. In this study, we will demonstrate with numerical analysis and experiments that low-luminance screens can be realized by the high-luminance cell size reduction. Moreover, we will compare symbol error rate at wide angles between conventional approach to reduce the screen luminance itself and the proposed approach to reduce the high-luminance cell size to clarify the superiority in physical layer security. |
