Abstract(in English) | The VVF cable transmission characteristics and maximum UDP throughput characteristics in power line communications (PLC) were evaluated at multiple line spacings, and it was confirmed that the effect of interline coupling can be ignored at 1 cm or more. Furthermore, the transmission characteristics and maximum UDP throughput were analyzed when the VVF cable was laid in a thermostatic chamber with a spacing of 1 cm and the ambient temperature was set between -15°C and 50°C. The results showed that the attenuation and group delay monotonically increased with increasing temperature, while the maximum UDP throughput asymptotically decreased above a certain temperature, indicating a temperature dependence. |
