Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The assignment problem on networks is a fundamental problem associated with various methods such as distributed computing and data delivery. Especially, in order to perform efficient data delivery, the necessary resources should be assigned near users while accomplishing the high fairness among users. Today’s communication networks are large and, users’ resource demands change from moment to moment. Therefore, resource allocation methods of data delivery should have scalability and robustness. In this paper, we design an autonomous adjustment mechanism that enables our autonomous decentralized resource allocation method to gain robustness against fluctuations in the amount of user’s resource demand. Through simulation experiments, we investigate the effectiveness of the autonomous adjustment mechanism.
