Abstract(in English) | In recent years, rich content delivery has become an issue of network link bandwidth hogging. In particular, the deterioration of communication quality due to insufficient link bandwidth is a serious problem for services that require real-time operation, such as IP telephony and virtual reality (VR). Multipath Communication, which effectively utilizes the bandwidth of multiple links by using multiple paths for communication, is attracting attention. However, conventional Multipath Communication cannot dynamically change the traffic weight assigned to communication paths. In this paper, we propose a Multipath Control method that estimates the congestion level of each link using In-band Network Telemetry, which can add and extract meta-information from packets passing through routers, and dynamically changes the traffic split ratio to multiple routes according to the link congestion level. |
