Abstract(in English) | In remote control of a moving vehicle via the Internet, the use of digital twin (DT) can reduce the effects of transmission delay and delay fluctuation. In this study, we implemented a DT that predicts the behavior of an unmanned vehicle (UV) as a control target and conducted driving experiments. The control accuracy depends on the prediction error by the DT. The larger the prediction error, the more frequently feedback (FB) is required to reflect the state of the UV to the DT. In this presentation, we report the results of quantitative evaluation of the effect of FB period on the control characteristics of remote control by DTs through experiments. |
