| Abstract(in English) | Software defined radio has become an essential implementation technology for research and development(R&D) in the mobile communications field. The use of open-source software and commercial SDR devices is becoming the standard in the R&D of next-generation wireless communication systems. We are working on R&D to implement a next-generation wireless access method based on an open-source 5G RAN. In this presentation, we will introduce an overview of the project and also share some difficulties and issues in R&D using commercial SDR devices and open-source software. This research is supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in Japan (JPJ000254). |
