Abstract(in English) The fundamental characteristics of a spectrum-spreading shield has been investigated. The transmission property of the proposed shield is temporally modulated to achieve both suppression and spectrum-spreading of electromagnetic wave. In this article, principle and characteristics of the shield are reported.
