| Abstract(in English) | The number of passengers of fixed-route buses is decreasing year by year in rural areas and most of operators are deficit. To maintain the routes, the autonomous driving bus is attracting attention. Since fully automatic operation is difficult for the time being, surveillants need to monitor the buses and intervene operation. To enable single surveillant to monitor multiple buses, the authors are developing a remote monitoring system using an AI-based live video streaming technology and a video-analysis-based alerting technology. This paper introduces the characteristics of the system and activities for practical use. |
