Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Respect for cultural diversity is important in today's increasingly globalized world, and intercultural collaboration using machine translation is being used to achieve this. For example, at KISSY, organized by the NPO Pangaea, children from many different nationalities discuss solutions to international problems. However, children who speak low-resource languages are not able to engage in the discussions. Therefore, we annotate the facilitator's utterances in actual group work and count the number of children's responses to them to identify the facilitator's utterances that are effective in promoting the speech of low-resource language children.
