Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As part of disaster preparedness, smartphone applications for disaster information sharing is considered as effective. There is a wide range of disaster prevention applications. Among them, we examined content for use during a disaster, focusing mainly on lives in an evacuation shelter, which are difficult to study in daily lives. In the event of a disaster, it is desirable to have knowledge in advance of how to live in an evacuation shelter, information sharing, and personal health information that will be needed in an emergency. Therefore, we developed a simulation application for living in an evacuation shelter using the concept of gamification to gain knowledge and experience of living in an evacuation shelter and how to deal with problems. Two subject experiments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the application by comparing with the results of learning evacuation shelter information by documents.
