Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The demand for ADCs is increasing because of being used for a variety of semiconductors products. Normally, ADCs is designed by full-custom design, in which all the layout is drawn by hand, but as the CMOS process continues to miniaturize, longer design times and higher costs are becoming problems. In this research, we configured multiple types of ADCs with digital circuits using standard cells, which are semi-custom LSIs, and reproduced their circuit operation. We also created a system that can automatically generate ADCs for multiple types of CMOS processes, and confirmed that layout generation.
