Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we study the quantification of the city characteristics based on the impressions of the sound environment, such as annoying and pleasant. The quantification of the city characteristics will be useful for policy planning and tourism projects. In this paper, the impression information given manually are used as the correct answer data. We try to estimate impression using acoustic features of environmental sounds, image features of aerial photographs, and sound-source features alone or in combination as input. The sound-source features and impression are defined by SSQP(Swedish Soundscape Quality Protocol), which evaluates the quality of the acoustic environment. As a result of the comparison, aerial photographs and sound source features are effective for the estimation of impression information.
