Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Operant conditioning, which combines punishment and reward, is a method to promote behavioral change. Based on this method, a previous study proposed tsundere interaction, which combines cold and kind behaviors by an agent that the receiver likes. In this paper, we investigated the relationship between the dominant and submissive personalities of regular customers and their motivation to work after receiving tsundere interaction from the staff of a maid caf? that uses tsundere professionally and 28 regular customers who have fondness for the staff. The results of the study showed that tsundere interaction was more effective in improving work motivation for those with less dominant personalities.
