Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In indoor sports facilities such as badminton, the unpleasant glare caused by the lighting affects the players' performance. In this study, we will evaluate the causes of the temporary glare that occurs when looking up at the shuttle during a badminton game. There are many factors that may contribute to the occurrence of glare, and it is difficult to find the main factor. The number of factors increases further when we think of an in-game situation. In this research, factors that are difficult to control in the real environment will be evaluated using the virtual environment. By conducting evaluation experiments in both real and virtual environments, we will discuss whether or not the evaluation of glare factors can be commonly performed in both environments. In these cases, both subjective and biological response evaluations will be considered. We will then conduct an evaluation experiment on equipment factors, which can only be conducted in the virtual environment.
