Abstract(in English) | Observation of the magnetic domain structure is important for understanding the magnetic properties of materials including practical magnetic materials, because the magnetic domain structure reflects the fundamental magnetic properties of materials. Suzuki et al. have developed a hard X-ray magnetic tomography method using X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). By using XMCD measurements from many different sample angles, the magnetization distribution can be reconstructed using conventional CT reconstruction calculations. In addition, in recent years, research on measurement with a reduced number of directions, called sparse-view CT, has been vigorously conducted in order to reduce the radiation dose and measurement time, and compressed sensing has been considered to restore the signal from sparse projection data with strict or high accuracy. In this study, we apply a reconstruction method incorporating compressive sensing to the conventional CT reconstruction algorithm for XMCD data obtained by sparse-view CT in order to shorten the measurement time. It is suggested that the image reconstruction method incorporating compressive sensing is effective in reducing artifacts on sparse projection data obtained by reducing the number of projections for magnetic samples. |
