Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, a sound-based security system which detect glass breaking sound made by burglars are proposed. In the previous study, specific features for glass breaking sounds detection have been proposed, and it has been confirmed that they can be classified using linear SVM. However, Classification experiments with daily sounds don’t have been conducted. Additionally, it is questionable whether the problem of discriminating between glass shattering sounds and daily sounds is linearly separable. In this study, the classification experiment with various daily sounds are conducted with nonlinear SVM, and I propose a new classification model that also can classify the daily sounds former model failed.
