Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Our previous study suggests that it is possible to estimate the subjective video quality of smartphone users in real environment using machine learning from bio-signals and questionnaire responses. However, the bias of the labels of the objective variables, the large variation of the video lengths per a video, and the analysis with a small number of subjects (three) remains as the issues. Therefore, in this paper, we report the results of an improved experiment in which we select videos with less variation of their lengths, introduce a questionnaire that can be answered in real time, and increase the number of subjects to seven. As a result of the analysis using Random Forest and XGBoost, we find that subjective video quality can be estimated with about 90% by stratified cross-validation, which is same as in the previous study, and that the viewing contexts affect the rank correlation between QoE and QoS. However, the estimation accuracies for unlearned data are still low, which remain as a future issue. |
