Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Our previous study shows that QoE of videos can be estimated by bio-signals while watching around-10-minute variable bitrate videos. However, the small variation of the bitrates and the possible noise effect in the EEG data when the subject operates the evaluation slider remains as the issues. Therefore, in this paper, we increase the number of videos used in the experiment and the bitrate variation, then, estimate the QoE by bio-signals, user interest and satisfaction for the videos, and the bitrates, with EEG denoising using MARA or removing the data during the evaluation slider operations. In addition, QoE estimation for untrained video is also investigated. As a result, by using XGBoost, QoE of videos can be estimated with high accuracy when the data in the same videos are trained. Especially, applying MARA denoising to the EEG gives higher QoE estimation. In the case of QoE estimation for untrained videos, the accuracies are improved for more than half of the subjects when bio-signals are added compared to the case of estimation only by the bitrates. It suggests that QoE of videos can be estimated by using bio-signals with EEG denoising for variable bitrate videos. Future work includes improving the accuracy of QoE estimation for untrained videos.
