Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In an environment where multiple people work together, especially in an office environment, it is difficult to maintain concentration on work due to the visual information of the surroundings. As a solution to this problem, some research has been done to change some of the visual information such as color and shape of the surrounding visual information using mixed reality technology (hereinafter, this is called "Low Saliency Method"). Although various methods can be considered for the low saliency method using MR technology, the methods in the same office environment have not been compared. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the optimal low saliency method for office environments. Since it is difficult to conduct experiments in an actual office environment, we reproduced the office environment and the low saliency method by MR technology on a VR system. As a result of a comparative experiment using this VR system, it was shown that the method of setting the avatar's color to grayscale may be the optimum low saliency method.
