Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Edge computing is expected as a network architecture for IoT services. It can reduce communication latency by introducing caching at the network edge. However, the conventional caching methods focus only on content popularity as decision metrics and do not consider feedback generation time, which may degrade the feedback performance. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy-based caching method to improve feedback delay in edge computing. Our method uses fuzzy theory to determine the priority of each feedback information, and selects the one to be cached according to its priority. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve feedback time.
