Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, statistics has become a necessary education not only for professionals but also for various people. In a previous study, we developed a learning support system with a guidance function and a function to give advice according to the learner's errors, but the freedom of the dialogue in the system is relatively low. In this study, we developed a learning support system with a mixed initiative dialogue control mechanism that allows both learners and the system to interrupt current discussion at anytime and detects learners’ problem solving strategy by selecting from possible strategies. We also conducted an evaluation experiment to assess the usefulness of the system. We also confirmed usefulness of the system and of its individual functions.
