Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Bug Localization is a field that is researched to support locating bugs in software programs. Recent research created optimal search queries that provide accurate localization results by using the bug locations as prior knowledge, to prove the usefulness for this field of research and to evaluate the empirical knowledge from related works. However, this research could not provide a method to create these optimal queries without prior knowledge of the bug location. In this research, we will analyze the property of these optimal queries based on provenance in bug reports and natural language. We will use our analysis to propose our method that will replicate these optimal queries. Conducting the analysis, we found that optimal queries have traits related to provenance in bug reports and natural language. The resulting proposed method could replicate optimal queries better than existing methods.
