Abstract(in English) | A wireless capsule endoscope, one of the implant medical applications with a wireless communication function, has attracted much attention. For efficient treatment based on wireless capsule endoscopy, it is important to acquire the location of the wireless capsule endoscope with high accuracy. Focusing on the regulation of extremely low power radio station, this study pays attention to a frequency band of 100-1,000 MHz for both spatial resolution and a wide range of location estimation area. Because the received signal is affected by the propagation inside the human body, this paper proposed a method to simultaneously estimate the relative permittivity and the location from equalized received signals. The estimation performance of the proposed method was evaluated through experiments in a biological-equivalent liquid phantom. |
