Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Mobility as a service (Maas), which has been attracting attention in recent years, can be utilized to solve social issues in Society 5.0. Examples are providing last mile mobilities, eliminating traffic congestion, or forecasting accurate pollen or PM2.5 counts by collecting environmental information using shared cars. While these services help to build safe and secure life, they might interfere with efficiency or convenience of MaaS which becomes a bottle neck for reaching wider users. In other words, due to the lack of technology to immediately grasp travel method (means or routes of movement) which can be a solution to social issues, and to encourage users to change their behavior and choose such travel method, MaaS platform hasn’t been established firmly enough to solve any social issues. Therefor in this research, we propose MaaS miles as an incentive for selecting a travel method, and design and implement a user-attracting low-latency MaaS platform that utilizes the IoT edge cloud platform. |
