Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The three-phase brushless DC motor uses a Hall sensor to detect the position of the magnetic poles of the rotor. However, the Hall sensor has a problem that it does not operate under high temperature conditions. This report describes a sensorless drive method that does not use a hall sensor. Instead of the Hall sensor, a circuit for detecting the magnetic pole position of the rotor was created. Furthermore, we made an experimental circuit and a print board that can observe the driving principle of the motor and the mechanism of position detection without a sensor. In addition, their characteristics and operating waveforms will be explained.
