Development and Evaluation of an Intropunitive Thinking Support System Through Reflection Activity in Werewolf Game

Abstract(in English) For learning by myself in social situations, intropunitive thinking which seeks cause from oneself, is more effective than extrapunitive thinking which seeks the cause from others. Wherefore, this study aims to support the acquisition of the reflection ability using intropunitive thinking. Therefore, we developed and evaluated a system to support to reflect in the situation when losing in werewolf games. In the proposed system, learners input the reason why they failed in the werewolf game and the solution to it. Based on the answers, the system provides explanations of the learners' thinking methods and feedback for their improvement. By reviewing and correcting their thinking based on the feedback, the system encourages the learners to acquire the reflection ability using intropunitive thinking.
