[Poster Presentation] A Reversible Contrast Enhancement method in HSI Color Space

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new reversible image processing method for color images. While the conventional method enhances contrast using the HSV color space, the proposed method adopts the HSI color space. In the HSV color space, a range of brightness controlled by the intensity component is wider than that in the HSV color space, and thus more effective contrast enhancement can be attained. We evaluated the degree of contrast enhancement by using RCE and confirmed that the proposed method can enhance the contrast without causing any distortion in saturation and hue.
