A Study on Computational Reduction for Dynamic Spectrum Access Database

Abstract(in English) Dynamic spectrum access (DSA) has been attracting attention to address the problem of insufficient frequency bands due to the rapid deployment of wireless communications. It is necessary for DSA to make effective use of frequencies while protecting existing radio stations. In this paper, database approach is considered for DSA to grasp the frequency utilization status. Less computation and processing time is desirable for real-time operation. In this paper, outdoor use of wireless LAN system is considered by DSA database in 6GHz band. DSA database simulator is developed, and estimation algorithm of interference risk is proposed and implemented to reduce the amount of computation in frequency sharing calculation. The number of shareable radio stations and the calculation time of the proposed method are evaluated by computer simulation, and compared and discussed.
