Abstract(in English) | In order to realize the integration of physical and cyber space (CPS: Cyber-Physical System), real-time, high-speed and high-capacity communication in the uplink is required. We have previously proposed a system in which a relay station (RS) equipped with a frequency converter is introduced to convert frequency-multiplexed signals to spatial multiplexing so that a user equipment (UE) can perform spatial multiplexing for the number of antennas of the relay station in the uplink. When RS is introduced, the received SNR at the base station (BS) is determined by the transmit power of the UE, the amplification factor of the amplifier installed in the RS, the location of the RS, and the propagation path model. Therefore, depending on the gain of the RS, the received SNR will be lower when the RS is placed near the center than when the RS is placed near the BS or UE. In this paper, we evaluate the location of the RS that maximizes the received SNR in order to achieve the maximum throughput for several settings of the transmit power of the UE and the gain of the RS. We also evaluate the throughput using a link level simulator. |
