Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a method to detect the editing of video signals using a robust hashing algorithm. The assumed editing processes are insertion, deletion, replacement, and reordering of frames. Video signals are generally compressed or resized in social network services, so we do not consider these edits are malicious, and the proposed method does not detect them. In accordance with the above detection conditions, the robust hash method of Li et al., which was proposed as an image retrieval method and was confirmed to be effective in detecting tampering with still images, is applied to video signals. The proposed method allows us not only to detect video tampering with high accuracy but to also reduce the number of hash values by synthesizing an ``extended frame'' from multiple frames. In addition, we propose a method to improve the tampering detection rate by permutating frames in each ``extended frame''. |
