Abstract(in English) In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the number of mobile nodes that are capable of collecting location information and wireless communication, such as smartphones and self-driving cars. Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) allows the construction of autonomous distributed networks with only communication between mobile nodes. However, since all nodes relay control messages like flooding at the route construction, MANET excessively consumes communication resources. If the location information of the nodes is used, more efficient flooding will be possible. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the efficiency of flooding by creating a virtual communication area based on the location information of mobile nodes and flooding messages only to the nodes within the area. As a result of comparison with conventional methods, the proposed method can create the virtual communication area flexibly and thus reduces excessive consumption of communication resources and communication delay.
