An Extension of High-Capacity Reversible Data Hiding in Encrypted Images by Bit Plane Partition

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we extend a previous reversible data hiding method in encrypted images of high-capacity that uses bit-plane partition. The main feature in our method is an extended self-embedding process. We introduces two algorithms different from the previous method for the self-embedding process. The proposed method predicts each pixel value with higher accuracy and thus attains the higher hiding capacity than the previous method.In the proposed method, a content owner can freely choose the order of encryption and data embedding. Further, there is no restriction for the order between data extraction and decryption process. Thus, an image user would be permitted to do either decryption or data extraction, or conduct both of them. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of hiding capacity and marked image quality.
