Abstract(in English) | Sit-to-stand (STS) is one of important motions in daily life. The analysis of STS is important not only for the rehabilitation but also external supports, for instance, lower limb exoskeleton is required in helping a disable person to perform STS motion. Adequate signal is mandatory to proper motion of exoskeleton actuators. In this study, we investigated muscle synergy approach to obtain stable characteristic of STS motions throughout various conditions. We first examined the stability of spatial patterns using concatenated EMG signals over trials; and then we compared temporal patterns in different trials. The examination was continued to evaluate the patterns stability across days. Our preliminary results show that our method obtains higher similarities of temporal patterns than synergy calculation for every single trial red and yields better stability of spatial patterns across days. |
