Improvement and Evaluation of Speech Content Coordinating Mechanism in Intelligent Dialogue Agent

Abstract(in English) Our research group has been developing a Comprehensive Preventive Care System (CPCS) to provide habitual preventive care approaches (e.g., cognitive training, fall prevention exercises, and effective supervision of older adults). This study aims to improve performance of Speech Content Coordinating Mechanism (SCCM) introduced for Intelligent Dialogue Agent (IDA), one of the components of the CPCS. To achieve more natural and flexible communication between the IDA and its users, we apply several deep reinforcement learning algorithms to the SCCM and evaluate their effectiveness through experiments.
