Abstract(in English) We numerically analyze characteristics of all-optical gate switches using the cascade effect of second harmonic generation and difference frequency mixing in quasi-phase-matched lithium niobate waveguide devices. In the analyses, we consider not only the temporal widths and the time offset of the input gate and data pulses but also the optical noises on those initial pulses.
