Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we have developed an archery game supporting system for visually impaired. In the previous studies, there were problems such as low accuracy of sensors and errors based on the form of players. Therefore, we developed an acoustic sighting device using a camera with object recognition function, and its basic experimental evaluations were reported in the previous paper. As the second report, this paper describes the performance evaluation of the acoustic sight, based on a practical experiment, where three visually impaired people shot arrows and measured the distance from the center of the target. The experimental results show that there is high correlation between the sight camera image and hitting position of the arrow on the target. In addition, after compensation for each player, the player was able to hit the arrow at the center of the target. It is shown that our system provide useful and good performance even when the players are visually impaired people.
