Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, various contents such as documents, music, and movies are actively exchanged among users on the network due to high performance of computers and wide bandwidth of the network. In addition, the demand for content sharing among users is increasing day by day, and content sharing over the network is getting more active. In content sharing in a P2P network, the content items held by a peer may be lost due to the peer's failure or disconnection from the network. In order to prevent this, a replication and deployment method is used, in which replicas of the content are placed on the other peers. However, in the conventional method, it takes time for the replicas to be spread over the network, and the content may disappear before it has spread sufficiently. Therefore, in this paper, in addition to the conventional replication and deployment method, we focus on the change in popularity of the content over time and predict the demand for each content item after a certain period of time, propose a content sharing system that suppresses content loss and reduces the network load. The effectiveness of the system is confirmed by computer simulation.
