| Abstract(in English) | Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment in traditional Chinese medicine is effective for ahead sick and intractable diseases, and has been also admitted by WHO. However, the treatment is often performed empirically and clinically, and the mechanism and process of the treatment are not yet scientifically elucidated. Therefore, it is required to establish objective and unified research methods and evaluation criteria that incorporate modern Western medicine and scientific and technological viewpoints. Till now, a human body model which included internal organs, meridians with acupoints, and Qi, blood, fluid was proposed. However, there was not enough stimulation of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment to verify the model. In this paper, based on the acupuncture and moxibustion treatment methods which are used clinically, the validity of human body model is discussed by comparing simulation results with clinical results. |
