Digital Control of Secondary Side LC Resonant Converter

Abstract(in English) LC current resonant converters are expected to be applied to various circuits because of their small size, high efficiency and low noise. In this paper, as an application of the secondary-side resonant circuit, we will fabricate a high-voltage, low-current power supply circuit for a vacuum tube amplifier. However, the LC series resonant converter becomes difficult to control by frequency control when the output current becomes light load. [1] PWM control was found to be sufficient for the light load region. By using digital control with negative feedback, control with an error rate of 0.2% was achieved even in the light load region.
