Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, various studies have been conducted using detailed operation histories (operation logs) for software GUIs. In the case of exploratory analysis of operation logs, it is sometimes necessary to create a query that combines state and order (e.g., operations were performed in a certain order when the system was in a certain state) to search operation logs. However, existing query expressions and search methods are difficult to deal with such cases. In this study, we propose a new search method for operation logs that combines "state and order," a query expression method that extends regular expressions, a search method, and a conversion method of operation log data to fit the proposed method. In addition, we report the results of evaluation by simulation.
