Abstract(in English) We propose a non-destructive inspection method to inspect an unwanted foreign object remaining underneath the wall of the underground fiberglass-reinforced plastic mortar (FRPM) pipelines. Our method utilizes microwave guided-modes propagating along a cylindrical dielectric waveguide. In this study, we developed a new inspection method by utilizing a time-domain analysis, spatial synthesis and Talbot pattern of microwave guided-modes. Our proposed method enables us to detect a foreign object that cause serious problems for the underground pipelines.
