Abstract(in English) | When a line-capacitor is connected to a power line filter, there is a problem that the noise-reduction effect deteriorates in the frequency range higher than the self-resonant frequency of the capacitor. This problem is due to the self-inductance, or residual inductance (ESL), caused by the capacitor itself and the wiring that is connected to the capacitor. In general, the ESL always occurs in a conductor having physical dimensions, and the increase can be suppressed by downsizing. However, due to the limitation of miniaturization, there is a demand for a method of reducing the ESL while maintaining the size of the noise filter. In response to this demand, many studies have been made to reduce the ESL by generating negative mutual inductance. In this paper, we propose a method using two line-capacitors as a method for generating such negative mutual inductance. Then, a qualitative and quantitative explanation for improving the characteristics will be given. With this proposed method, there are no disadvantages such as an increase in the mounting area and mounting of additional parts, and the characteristics can be improved by 10 dB or more. |
