Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Most of the previous studies for reducing VR sickness have restricted the field of vision. We propose a method to reduce sickness by adding optical flow to reduce the sensory conflict which causes VR sickness. The subjects evaluate the vection while observing the images, and answer SSQ after the experiment. In this paper, we reduced VR sickness by adding an optical flow of low velocity in the same direction as the moving velocity to the image.
