Behavior Prediction of Cervus nippon Considering Environmental Factors by Time-Series Transformer

Abstract(in English) In order to prevent damage to agriculture and forestry caused by wild animals, new wildlife management methods are required. In this study, we propose a model of behavior prediction which can take into account the effects of the surrounding environment using Time-Series Transformer. Experiments using biological data of Cervus nippon show that the proposed method outperforms previous methods quantitatively and qualitatively in terms of behavior prediction.
