A New Approach of Detecting NLOS Signals and Robust Positioning Method in Multipath Environments

Abstract(in English) Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning has recently gained attention in the autonomous driving, machine control, and construction site. With the development of low-cost multi-GNSS receivers and the advent of new types of GNSS, such as Japan’s QZSS, the potential of GNSS positioning has increased. However, in multipath environments such as high-rise buildings, Line of sight (LOS) satellites as well as Non line of sight (NLOS) signals, which have a significant impact on positioning, can be observed and should be classified by the user. In this study, we consider a method to detect only LOS satellites for more accurate pseudo-range positioning.
