A Fingerprint-like Positioning Method Using Low Earth Orbit Satellites

Abstract(in English) We try to consider a new positioning method using low earth orbit satellites, which has been attracting worldwide attention in recent years. This method is inspired by the fingerprinting method, which is the main indoor location estimation method focusing on the Doppler frequency from the satellite. By externally inputting a rubidium oscillator to the GNSS receiver, we were able to obtain accurate Doppler frequencies by making the frequency offset on the receiver side as close to zero as possible, and conducted evaluation and simulation experiments using a stationary body and a ship at anchor.
