Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the 6G era, the development of new services such as automated driving and telemedicine is expected to generate more diverse and sophisticated communication requirements than at present. However, it is difficult to set up backhaul lines for communication networks in remote areas. Therefore, it is thought that a system in which only base stations for wireless access are installed in remote areas and satellite lines are used as backhaul lines will become the standard, and among them, a system in which edge servers and cloud servers connected via satellite lines provide computing resources to users in the vicinity of base stations is attracting attention. However, in such a system, the edge server and the cloud server, which are connected via satellite links, provide computational resources to users near the base station. However, the edge servers do not have enough computing resources and the satellite links do not have enough communication resources. In this paper, we propose a method to control computational and communication resources based on the prediction of communication requests to reduce the latency of the entire system.
